Nike Puts Its Pegasus 41 to the Test In 270km Greece Relay

Nike has broken the boundaries of sport across the board. From basketball to tennis and running, the swoosh imprint has dominated athletic realms with creative innovation that drives your potential. Nike tested its all-new Pegasus 41 model last week, welcoming dozens of runners to sun-filled Greek islands.

The unique running experience brought together 41 athletes for a 24-hour trek across the region, beginning at Mount Helicon under the moonlight. The extensive race visited numerous sites before wrapping up at Mount Olympus, pushing the Pegasus 41 to its limits over 270 kilometers.

Nike’s Pegasus Relay went down in history books, and the new model shined with unmatched athletic abilities. First launched in 1983, the Pegasus has been reinvented with state-of-the-art technology while embracing its fast-paced heritage. The Pegasus 41 integrates new ReactX foam to limit harsh heel-to-floor impact on the move, featuring 13% more energy than regular React foam and a 50% reduced carbon footprint. The neon green model is grounded in lightweight design, seeing the breezy mesh uppers and midsole cushioning work together to push runners to their limits.
