American Rapper Logic has teamed up with Crunchyroll to release an apparel capsule collection dedicated to the cult-fave anime series, Cowboy Bebop.
The 11-piece collection comprises T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, varsity jackets, headwear and more all designed with iconic graphics and letterings that reference the neo-noir space anime. Some noteworthy styles from the collection include the Logic and the Crew Sweatshirt in white, which features a full-sized graphic print depicting the rapper making music while being surrounded by the Bebop Crew. This print is also reiterated as a full-color print on a black sweatshirt, gray T-shirt and skate deck.
So why Cowboy Bebop? Speaking on this release, Logic says, “Anime was there for me when I was growing up in a drug and violence-ridden childhood and household. I discovered anime through Cowboy Bebop, and would later go on to befriend the voice of Spike Spiegel, Steve Blum, and collaborate with him on various albums, which is a dream come true.” The Grammy-nominated rapper adds that he hopes to introduce his audience and fans to his music to the anime, noting that he hoping existing fans of the series will also be aware that he’s been “making fun anime nerd albums” all along.
