Louis Vuitton is continuing to expand its roster of global house ambassadors. This time around, the French luxury house has named Gong Yoo as its newest brand ambassador.
Hailing from Busan, South Korea, the actor is known for his roles in Squid Game, Train to Busan, The Silent Sea, Coffee Prince and more. Whether it be thrillers, mysteries or romance alongside his work in environmental awareness and mental health, Yoo has demonstrated a love for his craft, which is what the French house admires about the actor.
Although Yoo has attended Louis Vuitton men’s shows previously, starred in a global LV Tambour Horizon watch campaign and attended the opening of Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul, his role as a new brand ambassador is sure to deepen his relationship with the house.
In the past, brand ambassadors have been featured guests at runway shows, starred in campaigns alongside taken part in various initiatives and projects. Therefore, it is expected that Yoo’s relationship with the French house will follow suit, which will be easy given he’s done some of the work already. Yoo joins the ranks of LV ambassadors that have included names like Victor Wembanyama, BamBam, RIIZE, Felix Lee, Carlos Alvarez, J-Hope, Jung Ho-yeon and more.
