Turin-based label Kappa has unveiled its first capsule collection with 24 Hour of Le Mans, kicking off its three-year partnership as the race’s official outfitters.
For the debut offering, the brand blends various racer styles with its sleek streetwear aesthetic to create an eclectic array of 30 garments and accessories. Split in three sub-ranges: Team Kit, Fanwear and Heritage,the new arrival perfects race day outfitting for both on-track staff and motorsport enthusiasts in attendance at the iconic event.
In Team Kit, Kappa puts forth a refined and minimalistic uniform tailored to the needs of event staff. Composed of a zip-up tracksuit top, sweatshirt and polo neck, all designed to be worn on top of slack pants, the uniform gives wearers the choice to switch up the navy-toned pieces throughout the day. With a similarly clean-cut, sporty look, the Fanwear sub-range proposes two of the brand’s lightweight KOMBAT™ shirts, matching shorts and various accessories, with each piece adorning sports reflective logos in a nod to the after-dark racing at Le Mans.
Rounding off the collection, Heritage comes complete with Kappa’s Robe Giovani garments, decorated with motorsport-inspired motifs to mimic a vintage racing feel. The Alain jacket heroes this offering with a carpenter-style silhouette, in a “Midnight Blue” to reference Le Mans’ heritage as well as the Pierre shirt with dual-branded details and a matching cap.
