EYTYS Spring/Summer 2025 Embraces Stockholm Style

Stockholm-based label EYTYS has released its SS25 collection titled “Le Lion.” While many modern brands try to put on more and more elaborate spectacles to draw attention to their looks—like Rick Owen’s latest show which featured hoards of models in a grand space—EYTYS instead opted for a stripped-down aesthetic, with an iPhone camera capturing its latest looks in an intentionally mundane office setting.

The collection included mainly practical garments like jeans, button-downs and blazers that featured high-fashion details over conceptual, statement pieces. Rips, fading and paint stains all adorn jeans, the most prevalent style in the collection, giving them a distressed look while grommets provide a pair of denim jeans and jacket a high-fashion edge to contrast. Jeans are high-waisted and straight with a slightly slouchy look, going against the currently en vogue low rise/flared combination.

Relaxed button-downs in multiple materials and some adorned with small cutouts, lend themselves to a more casual workwear or elevated everyday look. Multiple plain blazers are paired with jeans and tees for the modern, EYTYS-approved professional. Jackets, coming in racing and bomber styles, stay classic with slight details like color blocking and asymmetry that make them feel modern.

Although EYTYS began as a footwear brand, the shoes take a backseat in this collection as most are just peeking out of the long jeans. What can be seen are untied sneakers, pointed heels, scrunched flats, and chunky boots that match the racing jackets. The shoes make bold statements to contrast the simple outfits.

With a complementary color palette and limited styles, the collection is a cohesive vision of how clothes can be made for everyday use without compromising style. The full EYTYS Spring/Summer 2025 lookbook is above.
