Closer Look at the NewJeans “Supernatural Pop-Up” With Takashi Murikami

Global K-pop group NewJeans has opened up their very own pop-up store titled “Supernatural Pop-Up” in Shibuya, Tokyo. At the pop-up, fans will be able to get a chance to pick-up exclusive merch items from the group’s collaboration with Takashi Murakami and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Renowned artist Murakami made an appearance at the pop-up, promoting the collaboration he did with the group for their single “Supernatural,” which released on June 21. The collab featured his signature multi-colored flower design and characters on merch bags and the physical album. He also designed specific characters for each of the members. Opening at the new Line Friends Square Shibuya store, the pop-up is until July 15.

The official NewJeans Line merchandise is available at the store featuring the special collaboration. The entire second floor of the store is dedicated to the pop-up which fatures other popular characters like Joguman and Truz, the official mascots of K-pop boy group Treasure. The basement in the DX Square area showcases the NewJeans x Takashi Murakami collab with an immersive media zone, where you can watch NewJeans music videos and special video messages from the girls.
