BOSS Walks Out of Office for Spring 2025

Khalid, David Beckham, Kaya Scodelario, Michael Ward, Khaby Lame and more found their seats in the grassy Palazzo del Sanato garden on Wednesday afternoon for BOSS’ Spring 2025 show. Titled “Out of Office,” the Milan Fashion Week runway looked to deconstruct the business dress code, reimagining classic on-duty looks for more rambunctious five-to-nine occasions while maintaining a semblance of the formal identity the brand is known for.

“We’ve stepped away from traditional double-breasted power suits, whose sharp cuts define the silhouette and are perceived as an inflexible shield around the wearer,” said Marco Falcioni, the brand’s SVP of creative direction. “This season, the hero piece is the understated three-button suit in lighter fabrics, gently wrapping the body without the constructs of shoulder pads and constrictive internal structures.”

Alongside those three-button suits, BOSS let loose deconstructed silk coats with shawl lapels, casual shirting with single pockets and concealed button pouches and tailored shorts that dipped below the knee. For women, the label put together trench coats, blazers, dresses and skirts that prioritized free movement with dramatic draping — ideal for the free-spirited frolicking the imprint sees for its clientele next season.

Falcioni calls the brand’s laid-back shift a reset: “A real BOSS is empowered and self-confident; they know when to log off and claim back their time, go out and relax, free from the hierarchy of rules and regulations.”
