Pacsun Enters the Activewear Market With New Men’s A.R.C. Line

Pacsun is entering the activewear market with an all-new menswear line, titled A.R.C. (short for “Active. Recreation. Comfort.”), that looks to target Gen Z.

The 28-piece line is broken down by its three namesake categories, each of which prioritizes different textiles and shapes to meet the needs of their intended environments. The “Active” section, for instance, is designed for high performance, with stretch nylon tops and shorts, while the “Recreation” line is built for more everyday wear, with silhouettes like nylon cargo pants and padded vests. Rounding out the trio, the “Comfort” division includes premium loungewear, like fleece tops with kangaroo pockets and heavyweight jersey tees.

“The A.R.C. Collection marks a significant milestone for Pacsun as we introduce our first dedicated men’s activewear line and look to fill a gap in the market,” said Richard Cox, Pacsun’s vice president of men’s merchandising and design, in a statement. “The three unique style categories within the collection are designed to reflect the diverse lifestyles of our consumers. Our goal was to create high-quality, versatile pieces that resonate with their evolving lives while remaining accessible to everyone.”

Ringing in the line’s launch, Pacsun gathered a squad of rising young athletes to appear in its first-ever A.R.C. campaign. NCAA quarterbacks Shedur Sanders and Carson Beck, basketball player Shareef O’Neal and USA gymnast Khoi Young sport the label’s latest designs in a series of on-the-field shots.

Pacsun’s A.R.C. collection is now available to shop online and in stores, with prices ranging from $29.95 USD to $74.95 USD. Explore the range in the gallery above.
